We are looking for a multifaceted and analytical Program Manager to coordinate a team of Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists using agile methodologies. You will deliver Machine Learning solutions to help our customers find and book the best travel for their needs and our suppliers compete effectively. For example we build models to forecast demand, suggest prices and deals, provide automated conversational Artificial Intelligence, and give guided recommendations on how hotels can grow their business on our travel platform.What you'll do:
You will apply the software development lifecycle and the various agile engineering practices that can be used (e.g., in planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, acceptance testing).
You will lead agile ceremonies without supervision and evaluate agile methodologies.
You will assist subject matter experts in defining requirements as needed contributing to the project schedule, tracking and reporting on project budget, and maintain program/project documentation and corresponding meetings as needed. You will also track issues and mitigation plans for risk management, track and report on project budgets as needed and lead technical, unambiguous projects under supervision.
You will interface with stakeholders and drive some collaboration efforts solutions to issues.
You will recognize and follow patterns that exist inside and across systems.
You will articulate and present process improvement ideas to the wider business.
You will carry out stages of the product development lifecycle, bringing a product to market by supporting the different phases and improving product performance.
You will understand (internal and external) customers needs and begins to develop the skills necessary to help customers understand business challenges.
You will anticipate the needs of the different audience groups in the business unit/function that receive technical communications and how they differ from each other.
Prior experience in Program Management is required.
Background as software developer is a plus.
Demonstrates an understanding of functional technical information (e.g. user flows, technical system design and workflows).
Anticipates and assists team members in the creation of routine technical communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages).
Proactively contributes to cross team collaboration ensuring the best available information is included in analysis and shares findings with peers and leaders.
Exhibits knowledge of the organization's processes, objectives, and challenges and their impact on the business.
