Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Institutional Business Acquisition and Development is to identify new prospects, nurture and develop relationships through healthy communications and multiple rounds of discussions and finally brings these prospect to signing contract with the Organisation. Additional role includes playing the role as liaison person with various VikasGenie team in early phase and as part of the new client integration process. Continuing responsibility includes building and maintaining sound and healthy prospect list through researching and analysing the business environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Identify and Generate New Client leads; Banks and Institutional Financial Distributors
Initiate calls/meetings, and follows up on new business opportunities.
Conducts presentations, discussion, and negotiations upto contract closure.
Leverage on the organizations relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives.
Develops and maintains relationships with industry players and consultants.
Acts as a liaison with existing Institutional Accounts to ensure active account status.
Collaborates with Marketing & Relationship Management team on product and sales materials to ensure they are in sync with the Clients business profile.
Works closely with VikasGenie Platform Development and Research team members to further develop sales and business development opportunities.
Desired Skills & Expertise:
Strong interpersonal, negotiating and organizational skills is a prerequisite, proven marketing and sales skills would be an added advantage, exceptional oral and written communication skills. An ability to deal effectively with people and communicate clearly in a non-technical language is desired and a sound finance and investment reading would be handy. Sound knowledge and experience in procedures and policies in financial institution business would be desired. Amongst softer traits; Leadership skills, cultural awareness and humane approach in communication across lateral and vertical team members would go with our organisational culture. An ability to keep up with technologies and networking trends would further your growth prospects.
Specific work elements would include; marketing of VikasGenie product and service offerings to prospective institutional clients, identifying new business opportunities and reach out through effective communications to prospective clients. Performing administrative follow-ups and discussion to ensure conversion of prospect to closure. Address newly acquired Client problems and challenges and participate in meeting with internal and external technical & research specialists to address client requirements and problems.
