Software Development Engineer @ McAfee

About the role :

• Work with Agile process for iteration based development.
• Should be able to develop and enhance features/functionalities on Web Protection UI.
• Should have good focus for UI development and UX Designs.
• Should be able to drive end-to-end ownership of features/functions and modules including development, testing and automation of functional and non-functional.
• Should be able to lead one line requirement into detailed technical specifications with committed analysis.
• Should be able to analyze feature requirements and assist with design documentation.
• Should be able to analyze customer issues and provide resolution/workaround.
• Ability to develop/automate in Cloud/Hybrid architecture.

About you :

• Strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, Java Spring, REST JAX-RS, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with any UI Framework, preferably ExtJS.
• Clear understanding of Object Oriented Concepts and Best Practices.
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
• Experience with Docker or cloud deployment technologies is desired.
• Knowledge of common Internet/Networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SSL, UDP, SOCKS) is desired.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating system (Windows : Basic, Linux : in-depth)
• Development experience with Cloud/SaaS deployments is strongly desired
• Should have excellent debugging, troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Working experience with JIRA/GIT is desired.
