Devops Engineer - Bengaluru/bangalore - Mcafee @ McAfee

Role Overview:

The McAfee Content Operations, Response and Engineering (CORE) group is looking for a dynamic, DevOps Engineer to enhance operational maturity, automate features and capabilities in a large-scale CI/CD for our business critical services. You will work with Engineers to understand the architectural designs, implementation, and deliver integrated solutions onto a cloud platform. About the role:

• You will be focused on operational excellence and will work with product/engineering teams to gather and deliver requirements
• You will work with engineering teams across geographies to develop DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
• Daily responsibilities will include ensuring that our solutions are resilient, available, healthy, and performing well
• You will build the infrastructure that allows other software engineers to quickly deploy, run and scale their software in cloud
• You will need to complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
• Contribute to the development and achievement of Organizational goals and Objectives
• Do continuous knowledge sharing, appraising partners of changes, tracking and reporting data for operational stability and presenting POCs.
• Offer out of hours support, via on-call rotation
• As a member of DevOps team, you will be an active participant supporting application migrations from On-Prem to Cloud
• You will participate in on going operational activities (deployments, monitoring, reporting and patching)

About You:

• 4+ Years of DevOps or Software Engineer experience
• Experience with scripting languages, Python and Terraform
• Experienced in Cloud technologies AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge in Container Development and Deployment
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GIT and build tools
• Experience in modern cloud monitoring and alerting tools (Cloud Watch, DataDog, AppDynamics etc )
• Knowledge on Networking and OS fundamentals
• Has a systematic approach with good communication skills
• Will help guide architectural decisions from an operational reliability standpoint
• Good team player
• Will persevere to find the root-cause of the issues, learn from them and promote feedback loops with stakeholders
• Can develop and track operational metrics
• Understand the value of data collation and make data-driven decisions
• Can embrace culture change and prove to be adaptable
