• The candidate should be able to edit/create metadata, audit digital and ancillary assets and make sure that they abide by the specifications to ensure the quality of the assets.

• The candidate should understand any digital or content errors pertaining to audio, video, subtitles and closed captions. Should be able to understand the process of Digital Distribution.

• Knowledge of Mac OS/Windows. Should be skilled in Microsoft Office (especially MS-Excel).

• Knowledge of FCP and Adobe Premiere would be an added advantage (not mandatory).

• Must have strong English communication and writing skills.

• Must have knowledge of audio configurations (5.1, 7.1 & stereo), video properties (aspect ratio, frame rate, bit rate, etc.), and issues like interlacing, aliasing, macro blocking, dropped/repeated frames, audio/video hits and/or drops, etc.

• Should have a thorough understanding of Audio & Video codecs.
  
• Should be familiar with various digital workflows like video transcoding, watermarking, etc.

• Should have a basic knowledge of different digital content delivery methods (Aspera, Faspex, FTP, Azure, etc).

• Should know how to troubleshoot metadata errors in XML.
