Job description for Full Stack Developer.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in APIs and backend platform development.
- Minimum 2+ years of leading feature teams through all stages of development.
- Experience with development of scalable, performance & robust cloud services on Azure, GCP or AWS
- Experience with website & web application development.
Responsibilities:
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Demonstrate a strong passion for designing fast, reliable, scalable applications with seamless UI/UX for end users
- Lead front-end development of our core web application while continually maintaining & improving them;
- Collaborate with back-end team, establish & enforce strong DevOps principles across all stages of development;
- Establish logging, monitoring, analytics and telemetry frameworks for the team;
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- Research and suggest new products, applications and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends.
Requirements:
- Strong computer system analysis and design skills in current methodologies and patterns including vanilla javascript(Web applications, Windows applications, Testing-manual, client interaction)
- {{and TypeScript or ClojureScript}} language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax with experience on ReactJS/ React Native, Express JS , Redux, Bootstrap, Webpack, and similar library/tools.
- Development experience on native web application development using HTML, CSS, JavaScriptjQuery and other W3C standard compliant libraries & frameworks.
- Strong knowledge & experience on Nodejs and other frameworks & libraries like Express, StrongLoop etc
- Experienced with web standards and protocols such as HTTP, RESTful services, DNS, TCP/IP, and socket APIs in general.
- Experience with agile/scrum methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes, developing user stories and working through backlogs. Familiarity in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, bitbucket, SVN, TFS etc.
- Creating polyglot data stores & data services that represent and support business processes including relational databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Dynamo DB.
- Previous experience in developing mobility or transportation solutions is a plus.
- Experience with Geo-location APIs and Google maps APIs and asset tracking is a plus.
