Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Source to Pay Operations
In this role you will be at the groundbreaking of the transformation of procurement. We re looking for a self-driven, resourceful individual who is passionate about data, analytics, and the potential insights that they can yield. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both internal and external partners, handling large data sets and using these to generate insight and information that adds value to Procurement organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Be able to review client data sets, identifying gaps and working with clients to resolve these.
Conduct a range of procurement analytics using GE s reporting suite (Tableau Dashboards, Data Extract Tools, Workflows, ECT.)
Ability to structure a story and communicate to clients the results of data analytics including action driven insights.
Assist in testing of retrained, enhanced Data Science Classification Model, remaining involved in regular rhythm with Digital team.
Manage Change of Classification Tool, performing weekly maintenance processes/audits and managing long-term enhancement projects.
Manage Direct/Indirect Data Change Workflow, performing weekly maintenance processes and managing long-term enhancement projects.
Assist with Data Governance Processes, maintaining manual mappings (meta-data and data dictionaries) and working across teams to ensure data consistency.
Act as lead approver/manager of access controls of Indirect Sourcing Analytics suite of tools
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Capability in generating meaningful insights from large and disparate data sources.
Ability to work on and manage projects independently in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Understanding of databases and database structures (i.e. different granularity of payables data (invoice vs supplier level))
Ability to clearly present analyses in a visually compelling manner
Strong attention to detail, especially in a review/audit
Experience working with business financial data such as procurement, accounts payable, supply chain or operations.
Specialist user of MS Excel
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and Spotfire
Experience with rule-based logic (i.e. if then )
Ability to partner and influence external stakeholders who control the input data process. This includes building strong relationships with IT in GE Businesses and at the corporate level
Preferred qualifications
Project Management Experience, leading projects from inception to implementation
Experience with utilizing VBA/Excel Macros for streamlined processes in MS Excel.
