Responsibilities
In this role, you would be responsible for providing Enhancement & Development services in a Java/Database environment during regular India hours from Mumbai location. Candidate will be working with SMEs, Business Analyst, module developers & Users complete end-to-end SDLC for Capital Market Client.
Additional responsibilities shall include contributing in designing and documenting of the software architecture based on existing architecture and inputs received from Client from time to time. Perform unit testing, integration testing and UAT as and when required. Also, engage with Client in requirement gathering, Status update on deliverables, UAT and be the key stakeholder in the overall engagement.
- Design, development and maintenance of suite of Risk Management Applications in an Agile/DevOps environment
- Work with business analysts and users in driving system requirements, integration requirements and provide technical recommendations in an Agile Development environment
- Unit testing, Integration testing, and Deployment of Components/Applications to Production
- Collaborate with other developers and offshore teams in completing project deliverables
- Ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with high quality standards
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/ MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong expertise, in designing and developing Core Java/Spring based backend applications [Must]
- Strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, Stored Procedures/triggers. [Must]
- Working expertise in Spark/Big Data technologies [Must]
- Experienced with RESTful Web Services/SOA architectures
- Experienced in Python/Unix Scripting preferred
- Experienced in utilizing standard design patterns
- Strong technical analysis and problem solving skills
- Previous IB background preferred
- Experienced in automated testing using BDD and/or TDD
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated individual and a Team player
- Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations. The person should have a technical aptitude to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the customer.
- Understanding of DevOps and virtualization concepts
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Should have the ability to express their design ideas and thoughts
- Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
