Inviting applications for the role of Sr. Manager - EHS & Sustainability, Infrastructure and Logistics
This role would be to own the responsibility for EHS&S functions daily for operations and audits of all sites globally and based out of Hyderabad with coverage extended on a 24x7 basis as required to meet the interpersonal and official needs. The role should be open to go for temporary deployment at other location in India on need basis including sites in India or abroad. Infrastructure & Logistics (I&L) strategic plan is to anticipate and provide the space and supporting services for internal business units and external audits/assessment/trainings/due diligence as and when required.
Responsibilities
EHS &S functions for all sites
All ISO 14001 & 45001, compliance requirements for other ISO certifications, ESG action plans and reporting, Budget planning (Capex/Opex), Audits, Assessments, Trainings required for core IMS and Sustainability related services for asll locations
Should have significant knowledge of ISO, NBC, ESG, Fire Safety, Resilience, Statutory requirements, functional requirements and safety and security frameworks suited for a trans-national IT/ITES company including reporting frame works like GRI, SASB, TCFD, and others as may be applicable from time to time.
You should be conversant with schematic drawings, layouts, engineering drawings, and all statutory or safety signages and their requirements etc
Liasion with Landlord and all third party to ensure smooth operation of services which supports Genpact and its ESG strategy as well as IMS requirements.
Estimate implementation work and ensure programs are adequately resourced, working to source the teams internally or externally as required
Plan and Conduct evacuation drills for the site, and ensure all critical services are functional, available, recorded, and audited as per the EHS&S framework in Genpact.
Ensure all agreements, licenses and regulatory/statutory approvals are renewed on time.
Ownership for regulatory and ISO audits for the site
Prepare the budget for building operations, execution of work, monitoring, and controlling monthly provisions.
End to end asset management and safety management
Ensure proper Inventory management and safety protocols
Exploring new technology to bring efficiency in the system and improve ESG standards in general and environmental and safety standards in particular
Liaison with govt/non govt agencies for any work related to legal compliances especially regarding environment and safety.
Coordination between vendor and accounts payable team for timely receiving of materials and timely releasing of vendor payment Checking on maintenance of other office assets and consumables (High side as well as low side equipment) to ensure safety and security of people and premises
Work with the Facility Management, Engg, Security, IT team and all other service provider to get integrated approach for seamless execution of work.
Ensure safety and security in any kind of activity in the facility is in place
Control and command FM team to ensure seamless work execution
Will be responsible for leading all technical audits internal and external both and ensure there is no Non-Conformity during ISO audits for all certified sites.
Primary responsibility would be Safety the secondary would be Sustainability
The candidate should be a team player and expecting him to work hand in hand with Logistics, Engg, FM team, security, IT team. Also, he will display an integrated approach to manage the operation
Safety, Security, Sustainability, Time management, cost management, resource management should be part of daily practice.
Annual budgeting, expense management would be part of his/her responsibility
As an SME in EHS &S, you will be responsible for all EHS&S related work as communicated to you by the Company from time to time
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Education B.Tech with experience in IT/ITES industry.
( Preferably) with added qualifications in Fire Safety/ Lead Auditor certifications in ISO: 14001, 45001
Industry certifications in Climate Change and Sustainability.
Skills Good knowledge of MS Office, excel, PowerPoint & word
MATLAB, C/C++, Visual Basics and Autocad
Preferred qualifications
Niche knowledge Facility Management, Facility Audits, Hospitality services, Vendor Management, Financial awareness
Team orientation, leadership skills, presentation skills, aptitude for strongly structured planning and execution of multi location and multi-disciplinary EHS&S Programs
Ability to deal with stress and ambiguity and find innovative solutions to problems.
