What you'll achieve

We count on our site reliability engineers (SREs) to empower our users with high availability, and stellar performance levels to pursue their missions. As we expand our SRE footprint to cater to Dell Digital, we are currently seeking experienced SREs who bring fresh ideas, demonstrates a unique and informed viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop positive user experiences at every interaction.
You will monitor and ensure uptime of mission critical applications using the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.
You will:
Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions
Take a holistic view of system health and build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve
Provide operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications
Partner with development teams to improve services, participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
Essential Requirements:
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent degree
0-2 years of total software/IT engineering/code development experience.
Expertise in building iOS Applications and the iOS deployment ecosystem
Experience in usage of JavaScript within mobile applications
Experience working with Database Systems such as MongoDB, SQL
Experience with cross platform mobile frameworks such as Xamarin/Flutter
Good Git hygiene and comfortable with Gitlab
Excellent communication skills
Agility to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly
Experience in trouble shooting and debugging skills
Competent to work in most phases of applications programming
Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills
Design Patterns
Green/Blue deployment method
Desirable Requirements:
Experience in most of the following Web API (MS ASP.Net), C#, .Net Core, JSON, REST
Familiarity working across the web stack JavaScript front end frameworks
Understanding of SRE principles and operational practices
Pivotal Cloud Foundry
Experience in building micro services and cloud native applications.
