Job Description

'Responsibilities:
The person is expected to perform following activities:
- Create and manage PostgreSQL database (on AWS)
- Analyze and understand data models created by Data Architects
- Translate data models to database resources
- Create, maintain & optimize tables, views, functions & procedures in PostgreSQL database (on AWS)
- Create unit tests for various PostgreSQL DB functions & procedures
- Enable continuous integration/deployment
Skills needed:
- 8+ years of database design and development experience
- Advanced knowledge on PostgreSQL (on AWS)
- Experienced in Data Modeling
- Excellent SQL/Pg-PLSQL programming skills (in developing functions, procedures etc.)
- Experienced in performance tuning and query optimization
- Good DBA skills
