Information Architect - Bengaluru/bangalore @ McAfee

Role Overview:

We are hiring for Information Architects who will be part of McAfee Enterprises Information Development organization. The person will determine how to identify and assemble information units to best meet customer and business needs for cloud- and client-based cybersecurity products.

About the role:

• In close coordination with visual designers, UX/UI experts, taxonomists, content creators, and software architects/developers.
• You will develop information architectures for fitness and optimum reuse on multiple platforms and media channels.
• You will work closely with visual designers to integrate visual elements into information units appropriate to each platform and channel.
• Y ou will model, organize, and analyze information units to help assess information gaps and identify information architecture needs.
• You will work closely with business analysts to help identify indicators that measure information architecture effectiveness.
• Your regular duties might include assessing target market and target audience needs, mapping or modeling content containers for information, auditing information and content for gaps, interviewing stakeholders and subject matter experts, modeling processes and information flows, and suggesting information governance strategies.
• You will work on multiple projects/programs simultaneously.

About you:

• 2+ years as an information architect, content strategist, or web designer.
• Demonstrated information architecture or content strategy experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong communication project management skills
• Demonstrated experience with the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) and the DITA Open Toolkit.
• Demonstrated knowledge of XML/XSLT/XPath and XML authoring/development tools.
