Job Duties:
- Experience supporting SQL Server environments
- Experience supporting Logical DBA activities
- Experience in SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL
- Provide Database Support of databases in accordance with NTT Total Quality Management, SLAs and IT best practices.
- Perform incident and problem queue management.
- Assist IT management with administrative policies and procedures related to technical problem resolution and priority management that relates to system support and maintenance.
- Recommend to IT management changes to physical database design to improve process throughput and ensure performance as identified above.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated leadership in administering SQL Server Database Systems in a High Availability environment.
Demonstrated time managements and multi-tasking ability.
Strong ITIL foundation, Continual Service Improvement and Total Quality Management experiences.
Excellent customer facing skills.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Ability to work directly with business stakeholders as well as technical resources Demonstrated proficiency in the installation and administration of SQL Server.
Strong SQL Server performance tuning experience.
Experience in database tuning and project support.
Experience with DR planning, DB backup, restore and recovery.
Experience with scripting.
Experience in hardware sizing, and capacity planning.
Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
