Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Co-ordination with client and contractors
  2. Coordinating team of engineers, and other dept. staffs
  3. Review project schedules/planning requirements for timely completion of projects.
  4. Keeping check of daily, weekly and monthly planning & schedules, ensuring quality & safety.
  5. Rotating equipment installation like Centrifugal pump and Centrifugal compressor
  6. Review of shop drawings for construction and follow up of works.
  7. Responsible for smooth functioning of site and Client and sub-contractor billing.
  8. Responsible for Brought in Materials and stores supply.
  9. Responsible for fabrication and erection of structural steel structures for support platform structure like SS stair case, SS cage ladder, SS hand rails.
  10. Reviewing the approved quality plans, manuals and scope of work to perform the required testing & inspection.
  11. Coordinate the activities of contractors and their respective subcontractors.
  12. Review of piping material specification and piping class/grade as per project requirement.
  13. Preparing the punch list items as per P&ID and Isometric such as Pipe Supports, Valves, Guides and NDT completion and approving /releasing packages for hydro test.
  14. Procurement follow-up with respect to delivery & payment terms, third party inspection approvals.
  15. Preparation of Bill of Materials/Material take off, manpower requirement
  16. Pre-Commissioning activities, Pressure Testing, NDT Reports, Commissioning punch point closure.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Should posses good communication skill

2. Technical knowledge in various mechanical & Piping,Structural,fabrication and erection activities

3. Familiar in utilities like cooling tower,chiller,boiler,water treatment plant,compressor,vaccum and ventilation system.

4. Familiar in fire hydrant system installation,testing and commissioning

5. Equipment & Piping erection, Insulation and painting

6. Awareness in safety standards / norms

7. Testing and pre commissioning of utilities and equipment
