Job Description

Automation:

• Minimum 3-5 years of Experience in Automation Development with programming languages like Java, C++ and Python.

• Experience in designing, developing and implementing the best practices and automation for the Engineering toolchain pipeline.

• Strong understanding and experience on integrating the enterprise systems using scripting languages, (primarily JavaScript and Python) and standard data integration protocols (SOAP, REST API)

• Proficiency with programming languages like Python/Java/C++/ and Scripting languages JavaScript, Perl, PowerShell, Bash to automate the tasks.

• Hands on experience in automation on premise /cloud for production-grade applications and products

• Develop and maintain the integrations with our suite of tools to support CI

• Experience with distributed version control systems like Git

• Exposure to Jira and other Atlassian tools like Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo.

• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting and figuring out solutions vs. Problem reporting

• Should have strong scripting skills to design and implement Engineering process automation of DevOps processes and Good documentation as well.

• Must be able to develop reusable components.

Job daily Responsibilities :

• Develop the scripts and automate different efforts using PowerShell/Python/Bash/Linux.

• Understand how the various systems works and how IT operations are managed

• Manage source control including Bitbucket and GIT

• Develop automation that flow through a complete end-to-end process

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Capable of developing, analyzing specifications and requirements.

• Expert knowledge of software development processes and Ability to read schematics.

• Expert at requirements and specifications analysis and translates these into software designs.

• Identifies DevOps requirements and performance issues. Work with internal and external teams as necessary to resolve the issues in a timely manner.

• Closely work with DevOps customers to define requirements and to resolve the issues.

• Perform work in ticket system to address maintenance and support issues.

• A working knowledge of current business processes and the ability to understand new business processes.

Ba s i c Q u a li f ic at i on s :

• Bachelor s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

• 5+ Experience in automation practices.

• Experience in designing, developing and implementing the best practices and automation for the Engineering process pipeline.

• Experience developing tools and/or interfaces to other similar tools

• Experience in developing using scripts and multiple high level languages ( C++, Java, Python) and Scripting languages( JavaScript, Perl, Powershell, Bash) to develop out of the box automation to improve the Engineering efficiency

• Strong attention to detail.

• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.

• Creative problem-solver capable of creating and reproducing complex defects

• Experienced with technical leadership of other engineers in the development of software.

• Experienced with development and management of project schedules.

• Experienced in developing effort estimates.

• Capable project management and time management skills.

• Ability to evangelize and promote project ideas to get support in a business environment

• Certifications from qualified Institutions

Eli g i b i l i ty Re qu i r e m e n t s :
