Roles and Responsibilities
- Overall project responsibility - The incumbent will be whole and solely responsible to ensure the project progress is as per the schedule, delivered at the desired quality with maximum control on costs.
- Understanding and Interpreting drawings - Basic engineering works are a priority to oversee. Ensuring drawings are received on site, interpreting the drawings properly and fully ensuring workmanship according to drawings.
- Technical Work - Ensuring all works are done as per drawings and site conditions including works such as layout, shuttering, RCC, concrete mixing, steel binding, masonry etc.
- Vendor Management- finding vendors of materials, labour etc., mobilising materials and labour.
- Resource management - Despite the remote nature, the labour management has to be ensured to minimise wastage and maximise work effort.
- Site reporting on a daily and weekly basis to ensure full engagement of the higher management as well as the client.
- Client and Contractor Billing: Ensuring timely billing and timely movement of funds is also an important part of the profile
Desired Candidate Profile
- The candidate must be very good at problem solving since the project is a challenging one with remote location and scarce resources.
- Must be very thorough with engineering fundamentals like drawing interpretation, measurements, right angles (guniya), line, level, concrete design mix etc.
- Must be able to take ownership and must be able to communicate well.
- Experience preferred - 3-4 years site engineering, 3-4 years project management

Project Information
- The project is to build a resort on a hill station near Almora, Uttarakhand
- Multiple phases ongoing simultaneously to oversee and manage
- Accommodation, food and other living expenses shall be fully paid by the company.
