Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Candidate must have min 4yrs exp into purchase of raw materials(food).eg. pulses,spices,nuts,besan,chana dal,potato flakes,etc.Edu-Bsc or Msc (into agri/food division)/ MBA (agri/ material management)

Desired Candidate Profile
1. Will be responsible for purchase functions in NAMKEEN DIVISION. Will prepare Purchase Orders based on minimum Cost and timely delivery of the material.2. Will identify the Vendors / Suppliers for timely procurement of Material. Will be responsible for purchase schedules. Cost effective procurement of materials will be the main focus area.
3. Keeping a track of the Inventory of the Material with minimum stock level. Handling material accounting within the ERP system.
4. Will be keeping a close monitoring on the daily price of commodities/ other raw material and making the ANALYSIS REPORT. Will be required to explore data and information through INTERNET on the various aspects related to Analysis, Trends etc.
5. Will be required to maintain the data base / trends on fluctuations in price of commodity on fortnightly basis.
6. Will be required to design and maintain the ERP REPORTS related to the Purchase aspect.
7. Will maintain MIS Reports related to Materials Management, Cost savings, Vendor Quality aspect etc.
8. Will be required to do the Business Presentations on regular basis.
Items to be purchased from Mandi and other market ---
All type of Spices, Chana Flour (Besan), Chana Dal, Corn Flakes, Pea Flour , Whole Pea , Groundnut, Mamra , MASOOR DAL, MOONG DAL , MOONG WHOLE , MOTH (DAL) MOGAR , PALMOLEIN OIL , POTATO FLAKES Should be updated with latest price trends in agriculture commodity.
Required Candidate profile
- Graduate / Preference will be given to Agriculture background / with Diploma in Materials Management
-Good in communication skills, computer savvy and having good presentation skills and should be comfortable travelling. Should be a good negotiator.
-Purchase Officer Cum Data Analyst - 60 % role is procurement, 40 % data and trend analysis of agriculture commodity.
