Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

To work in Batch Services team handling data processing in batches by Creating, Modifying or Deleting Stored Procedures, SSIS Packages and C# Code.

Support Client/CRMs request to fetch data from the SQL database by writing complex SQL queries.

Skills

• Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
• Experience with some of the modern relational databases
• Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
• Skilled in creating/modifying SSIS packages
• Skilled in creating/modifying Stored Procedures
• Knowledge of creating table indexes, query optimization, profiler, statistics.
• Excellent troubleshooting ability
• Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
• Capable of configuring popular database engines and orchestrating clusters as necessary
• Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
• Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
• Proficiency in C# language
• Proficiency in .Net technology
• Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such asGit / TFS / SVN / VAULT
• Programming views, stored procedures, dynamic query and functions
• Communication between linked servers, debugging T-SQL, data analysis, preventive actions and remediation.
• MSSQL Server Reporting Services 2008/2005/2000 (SSRS)
• Data Transformation Services (DTS)
• Transfer data between OLTP and OLAP databases
