Job Description

Role Title: Support Lead

Location: Bangalore(preferred), Gurgaon (secondary)

Working Hours: UK (1pm-10pm IST/ 3pm-12am IST) & US hours (5:30pm-2:30am IST/ 6:30pm-3:30am IST)

Years of Experience: 9-12 years

Role Purpose: To lead a dedicated Product Consulting team to support BAU activities and future business initiatives. Develop/re-engineer operational/BAU processes and engage closely with global stakeholders and core management team.

Required Qualification:

Mandatory

  1. Engineering or IT Degree.
  2. Strong fundamentals in RDBMS - PL/SQL, SQL SERVER 2008/2012/2016 (T-SQL) and exposure to deployment/source control tools (Jenkins/Octopus & SVN/GIT/TFS)
  3. Basic understanding of Capital Markets / Asset Management Operations / Investment Banking

Added Advantage

  1. MS certification in SQL/Oracle
  2. Basic Capital Markets/Functional certifications

Deliverables and Tasks:

  1. Support and oversee BAU activities, ensuring application uptime and smooth running of the operations by addressing application issues.
  2. Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve Data/Application/API issues and errors reported by Users. Guide the team members for the best approach in dealing with BAU tasks.
  3. Coordinate with the Asset Managers and Brokers for understanding their requirements and work on specific requirements for Data/Configuration changes involving complex SQL scripting.
  4. Peer review SQL code and mentor colleagues with less SQL experience. Own the process for any data/configuration changes in the production environment.
  5. Collaborate with the Product Management Group/Implementation team and contribute towards the stability and vision of the application based on the feedback from the end-users and studying the industry trend.
  6. Lead technical implementation projects for new clients and work on new client requirements with the Implementation team.
  7. Be the Product Owner and respond to business queries from Asset Managers and Brokers from technical as well as functional perspectives. Know the right time to escalate and highlight to management based on criticality and priorities.
  8. Collaborate closely with development and testing teams in new product development and existing product enhancements (e.g. driven through JIRA, parallel projects).
  9. Utilize change /release management systems effectively and Implement changes and improvements to the procedures and
    processes to cope with a rapidly evolving system environment.
  10. Conduct Demo/Training for clients & develop the knowledge base and in-depth documentation.
  11. Take responsibility for leading the team, owning the process, and mentoring the team members with an open mindset to steer Teams growth. Driving the team's work stack and responsibilities and prioritizing as per the need.
  12. Maintaining audit trail for Support activities, capturing knowledge for new processes, and ensuring regular review of existing
  13. Steer the team's momentum by learning new tasks/technologies and then transitioning it to the team by training the
  14. Own and drive automation to help in efficiency gains/performance enhancements benefiting the wider teams.
