Job Description

Job Title: ETL DataStage
Positions: 1
Location : Pune
Duration: 12 months

Advanced ETL experience using DataStage
Strong ETL performance tuning skills. The ability to quickly and efficiently analyze and resolve performance issues within variety of operational environments
Strong understanding of Data warehousing design concepts/skills
Data modelling for data warehouse 3NF & DataMart star schema
Strong SQL skills including complex query building and query performance tuning
Batch Data Movement ETL (DataStage experience is preferred, but mandatory they have deep knowledge of the concepts)
Traditional Relational Databases
Data analysis skills - ability to dig in and understand complex models and business processes
Strong UNIX shell scripting skills
ETL-related Python coding skills
Proven experience in working directly with business customers
Ability to understand Oracle schemas and LDM/PDMs, and design/build DataStage jobs to meet requirements
Ability to write complex SQL queries to support trouble-shooting of ETL jobs across Oracle schemas
Proven data migration & extraction experience, including appreciation of data governance & quality controls
Proven performance & tuning experience with DataStage set-up and config (with various data load scenarios)
Strong communicator & focus on documentation for continuous improvement, e.g. repeatable and automated deployment processes
Ability to work with Global teams
