Desired Candidate Profile
- Manage Operational Logistics, identifying and maintain sustainable processes to ensure on-time delivery with no interruption to supply of
- cold chain/temperature controlled products to Distribution network.
- Manage & own process with Global& Local freight forwarders involved in primary distribution and inter depo transfers.
- Execute dispatch plan provided by planning for products/samples andperform stock transfers/material movements in SAP.
- Co-ordinates with CHAs for imported products managing end to end process of clearance (Issuing pre-alerts, reviewing checklist/BOE, Duty calculation, pay-outs to CHA etc.) ensuring there is no lack/gap or time loss to ensure NIL demurrage.
- Closely working with Regulatory to ensure necessary permissions for each consignment from the Drug Authorities is obtained.
- Export - Co-ordination of documents and movement of stocks/samples from India to distributors market
- Initiate & monitor stock reconciliation (Physical Vs Book) activity across distribution points on periodic basis. Timely execute material movements/corrective actions in case of all discrepancies (incl. receipts)
- Manage & review on monthly basis batch creation process with distribution centres. Ensures closure of pending purchase and sales orders for the month.
- Collate & report data on near expiry stock to management on monthly basis.
- Ensures monthly movement of expired stocks to blocked, Block stocks (expired /shortage / excess stocks) to scrapping in SAP after obtaining necessary approvals from Finance and co-ordinating with CFAs for completion of destruction.
- Running MRP/SAP reports which supports MRP run as per product planning cycle and sharing of POs to manufacturing sites.
- Support/Manage on-going improvement projects, strengthening of SOPs/Agreements and logistics strategy implementation to achieve operational excellence/continuous improvement with our Logistics partners.
- Support internal audits conducted by Corporate, statutory auditors, Quality, including management response to audit findings, and lead any audit activities within our partners and take responsibility for no defect findings.
- Ensuring timely processing of all vendor bills as per scheduled timelines as per the contract
- Providing monthly provisions, receipt closure to Finance.
Required Candidate profile
- Candidate should have 2+ Years of Experience in Logistics.
- Good communications skills, both written and verbal
- Results driven with strong analytical capability and process orientation
- Strong inter-personal and influencing skills
- Knowledge and experience with SAP MM,SDmodules (Essential)
- Strong knowledge of business disciplines (supply chain quality and management, supply network planning, logistics, etc.)
- Knowledge of import/export, shipping and freight procedures.
- Exposure and experience in Biotech / Pharmaceutical manufacturing process, principles and practices; preferably at production site and headquarters level
- Experience in working in an international environment, ability to liaise/communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and different cultures
- Experience in working internationally in a fast paced, reputable global Biotech / Pharmaceutical or Consumer company organized in a matrix structure
