Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulate end to end Software verification strategy and automation strategy for a product
- Takes complete Ownership of testing a product or release and ensures high quality deliverables
- Demonstrates customer focus by ensuring quality of software releases
- Plan, design and execute agile testing and verification activities of the program/project in consultation and alignment with team
- Participates in review of Requirements, Test Plans and test cases
- Review work products and ensure the quality of deliverables
- Leads and coaches the team members.
- Creates and maintains traceability for the subsystem/product
- Demonstrate the ability work with team members.
- Drives the application of SDLC principles and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and testing techniques.
- Participates in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps.
Qualifications / Experience and/or Background
- Experience in setting up automation strategy and framework for embedded devices
- Deep expertise in automation testing principles and methods
- Experience in technically leading a team of automation test engineers.
- Well versed with software testing techniques
- Expertise in Test design, test data creation and maintenance
- Demonstrated success in delivering results on technical challenges.
- Good understanding of Healthcare domain (regulations and standards) and Medical software development/test process.
