Roles and Responsibilities
- Inspection: Analyze customer requests (based on 3D models, drawings, and check criteria) for manufacturability
- Modelling and drafting: Create 3D models, drawings, blueprints
- Assembly creation: Create Assemblies with the given models, constraints, and requirements
- CAM Programming(with Mastercam):
- Determine sequence of machine operations, select cutting tools, machine speeds and feed rates needed to machine workpieces
- Write programs for 2 to 5 axis CNC machines using Mastercam
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing:
- Check 3D models for GD&T on the basis of function of the part
- Assign colors to the different surfaces of the parts according to the tolerances
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors/Masters degree in an engineering discipline
- CAD experience (for example: Siemens NX, Solid Edge etc.)
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) experience
- Experience with CNC machinery (lathe, mill, waterjet, laser cutter, EDM etc.)
- Experience with CAM programming (Mastercam)
- Tooling design experience (desirable)
- Fluent in English
