Roles and Responsibilities:
Solution Architect to Design and Architect Cloud based solution for Analytics. Hands-on experience in end to end solutioning AI/ML based engagements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Experience in implementing large and complex hosted solutions using Azure, AWS or Google
- Azure platform services like Azure SQL, HD Insight, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure Machine Learning, Stream Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and CosmosDB.
- Snowflake S3, Query Processing, Cloud Services
- Ensure successful execution of IT strategies, architecture guidelines and standards and lead project teams through the technology selection and architecture/security governance processes
- Develop Data Models with facts and dimensions (Oracle, SQL, Teradata) on Cloud platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
- The person should understand various software development methodologies including Agile, Waterfall and Iterative and should be able to lead a team of offshore Developers
- Strong SQL skills to data Validations and data profiling.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Review current data models to understand the as is environment.
- Review report design documents to understand where data model structures can address requirements.
- Works with the key business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers and data architect to model the current data (where models do not already exist) and for the to be system.
- Create logical and physical data models for as is and proposed or to be system.
- Create entity-relationship diagrams for relational systems and dimensional diagrams for the Data Warehouse, Data Marts and data cubes.
- Review, updates and validates data model with key business representatives and end users.
- Work with the technical architect, data architect and database administrator to understand current data storage constraints and define to be needs with growth allocation.
- Maintain data models continuously as modifications and enhancements are made.
- Create data model structures to enhance performance of the application by creating aggregation and summarization structures.
Experience:
15+ years of overall Experience
- 10+ years of experience as a solution architect
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in hosted model
Education:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, B.E or other quantitative field related to area of assignment. Azure certification/ Big Data Certification is preferred.
