The IT team at PIC Bangalore is part of the Global IT Organization and plays a major role in conceptualizing and executing multiple strategic initiatives. The IT organization structures itself into three blocks which are Delivery, Architecture & Platforms ( A&P) and Infrastructure & Operations (I&O).

IT Delivery is responsible for building and deploying end to end IT solutions for business and markets. This will increasingly involve configuring and integrating standard applications (the full stack including infrastructure), rather than customizing or developing software. Input for these solutions comes from the Sector/Function/Markets CIO and Platform & Architecture organizations. Upon acceptance by the business, the deliverables will be transitioned to Operations for run management. In the run phase, the Delivery organization provides 3rd line application maintenance and support to Operations.

IT Delivery applies the Agile/Scrum methodology and manages external partners on an output basis. Competence centers and sourcing will be organized around Platforms: Idea to Market, Market to Order, Order to Cash/Fulfillment business applications and the enabling Platforms. Key roles in the Competence Centers are the Competence Group Manager, Team Lead, Business Analyst & Technical Lead.

As an IT Tech Lead / Solution Architect :

Accountable that the solution designs meets the functional requirements specified by the Business Analyst.
Accountable that solution design meets platform architecture. Provide feedback to architecture community on architecture and design.
Accountable that deliverables meet requirements w.r.t. reliability, availability, manageability, performance, and security and compliance.
Approves the content of the release prior to release and manages interrelation aspects with other applications.
Supports development team in performing build automation and configuration management.
Supports the Delivery Manager in timely provision of technical environments.
Supports Business Analyst, Project Manager and Delivery Manager on managing, tracking, and forecasting of solution development.
Coaches technical leads and developers.

Experience &Knowledge:

Core technology expertise:
8+ years of relevant IT experience.
At least 5 Years of full Project life-cycle Implementation experience with Output Management withSAP.
In depth knowledge and experience on the Open Text, Output presentments Forms Design, Output determination Techniques. Story Teller, Correspondence Management Using business graphics such as charts, barcodes.
Experienced in working with the OpenText, Stream Serve Smartforms Adobe Forms SAP scripts.
Possess a solid understanding of technical architecture, infrastructure and ABAP development, including, testing, administration.
Experience on Stream Serve Administration, Post processing techniques.
Experience in working with Output communication to Printer, FAX, MAIL, Well versed with archiving output documents.
Knowledge and exposure on Installing and configuring Stream Serve Persuasion, Exporting, deploying and running a Stream Serve Project
Recommendation of best practices.
Ability to provide hands-on support to the Support team and trouble-shoot issues occurring Post Go-live

Additional Technology Skills (preferable) :

Definition and enforcement of design and development guidelines, policies and procedures
Experience with Configuration Management Processes and systems.
Experience with requirements gathering, effort estimation, impact analysis and supporting project/delivery management with creating delivery plans
Experience with Application and Infrastructure Support in an outsourced model
Experience with Agile & Scrum methodologies in an onsite/offshore delivery model
Knowledge of IT Software Validation methodology in regulated medical device, pharmaceutical and healthcare industry would be an added advantage.
