The job location will be in Tanzania (Eastern Africa)
Job Profile:
Location: Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
Job Proile of AVIATION Depot Manager, please find below the Job summary and requisite for, the said position.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A good university Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years experience in engineering function, in which 5-8 years of experience is must in Aviation Depot Operations, Managerial or equivalent capacity in Aviation fueling Operation.
Job Description of the Aviation Depot Manager
The Aviation Depot Manager (ADM) is accountable for the complete management of the depot. This covers all operations, HR, HSSE, and maintenance of equipment. The ADM must manage the fuel storage facility and into plane activities whilst maintaining quality and HSSE standards. The ADM delegates responsibilities to staff while maintaining full accountability/ responsibility. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintenance of fixed plant, mobile into plane equipment, training, HSSE, stock control and administrative duties.
To work as per the instruction and in co-ordination with Head office to maximize value derived from aviation operation and to Deliver HSSE and Operational excellence at depot level.
Knowledge, Skills and Key responsibilities
1. Operation Management Accountable for the complete management of the depot Operation, HR , Maintenance of Equipments & HSSE within depot and airport apron in accordance with JIG Standards
2. Product Quality The ADM is the site Product Quality Officer responsible for the quality of the aviation fuel dispensed to aircrafts, Bulk movement and transfers
3. People Management
4. Aviation equipments Standards and engineering assurance
5. Quality and Operational assurance
6. Inventory Management ensure apt control / documentation and Gain/loss Performance is within the acceptable limit
7. HSSE, Fixed and Mobile Plant maintenance
8. Training - Ensure Periodical training and training register is maintained up to date.
9. Relationship Management- Internal and External
