Mandatory Skills :
- Java, J2EE, Spring , COBOL
Good to have: React, Vue, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Jboss, Bootstrap, Micro Services, Design Patterns, Spring boot, JPA, ORM, Lead role, Client interaction, Angular, Hibernate
Role: Interpret written business requirements, functional requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with IT and Business partners to design, develop, and troubleshoot end to end technical solutions Develop solutions that are reusable, testable, efficient and elegant.
- Identify and manage downstream dependencies/impacts.
- Ability to guide/ mentor the team is a must. Identify and communicate technical risks, issues, and changes
- Contribute to design review meetings with other members of Application Development
Desired Skills :
- Familiarity with JBoss and Eclipse. Responsive layouts and bootstrap.
- Unit testing. Familiarity with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Familiarity with working within an Agile environment and part of an agile scrum team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science or Management Information Systems (or equivalent work experience)
- 4 years of IT work experience with demonstrated increasing responsibilities
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Ability to understand technological complexity and articulate it into simple solutions Financial Services industry experience is a plus
