Position Overview

IT Analysts serve as technical resources for employees. From problem identification to full resolution, you will own and manage the customer experience. When needed, you will collaborate with others and engage subject matter experts. You will be given the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in one or more areas and receive guidance and mentorship from your colleagues.
You are responsible for
  • Scope a customer issue by collecting the relevant facts and investigate the problem by doing your own research and by involving other teams as needed.
  • Consult and collaborate with your immediate peers or colleagues around the world and with management and engineering to resolve service issues.
  • Empower employees to find information, self-solve when they decide to, and learn more about productivity tools.
  • Advise employees on how to gain additional value from the tools and services we provide.
  • Document your technical work and research to help your colleagues, improve the product, and improve the support experience.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to customer happiness, identifying employee satisfaction concerns and managing employee expectations.
  • Manage daily operational activities, respond to incidents, and support employee requests.
  • Provide Level 2 IT support on PC hardware, software, and applications (e.g. in-house development application) with remote diagnosis, problem determination, and resolution.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
  • A degree in a computer discipline or relevant industry experience
  • 3+ Years Experience with Windows Operating Systems Administration/Configuration, including in-depth knowledge and troubleshooting of:
    • Registry
    • File Storage
    • User Accounts & Access Control
    • Event Logs & Auditing
    • Performance/Resource Monitor
    • Networking (TCP/IP) and Virtual Private Networking (VPN)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies - particularly, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Passion for technology and customer support.
  • Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills, an ability to use various data collection tools and methodologies to analyze problems and develop solutions.
  • English Language: fluent in reading, writing, and speaking.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of these areas is desirable:
  • Microsoft Office troubleshooting
  • Outlook troubleshooting
  • Mobile device troubleshooting (Android and iOS)
  • Windows Update management
  • Bitlocker administration
  • Windows Shell configuration and management
  • Windows Activation/Licensing
  • Remote Desktop Services configuration and management
  • Printing configuration and management
  • Application installation and management
  • Command Prompt usage in troubleshooting
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Active Directory user and computer management
  • Familiarity with networking tools/protocols. (tcpip, http, ping, tracert, tracemon, wireshark, etc.)
  • Group Policy management
  • Troubleshooting hangs and crashes in Windows
  • Troubleshooting performance issues using PerfMon and other tools
