Note :
- This role involves working into shifts only.
- Also, note that this will be under Support Service domain of Cybage hence the designation will be given accordingly
Please refer to the JD below :-
Skills required:
i. Good knowledge on SQL server architecture and internals.
ii. Experience in working on Database administration on SQL server 2008 to 2017.
iii. Knowledge on high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
iv. Experience in SSRS reports, Power BI & Power Apps Development.
v. Experience in writing complex database queries.
vi. Good troubleshooting skills.
vii. Good understanding of Azure Environment (Related to SQL Database includes Azure database instance, Azure Data Factory, Azure Pipeline & Azure Function creation & implementation)
Add on skills:
i. Intermediate knowledge of PowerShell.
ii. Intermediate knowledge of Power Apps / Power Automate.
Roles & Responsibilities of the resource
i. Replication setup and maintenance.
ii. Database backup strategy implementation.
iii. SQL server installation and service pack or hot fix patching on stand alone or cluster instances.
iv. Suggest and implement SQL Server best practices for clients environment Security management
High availability & disaster recovery solutions like Log shipping, mirroring, cluster, replication & Always on for on-premises and Azure data Factory, Azure pipeline, Azure Function creation and its maintenance for Azure environment.
v. Database & SQL instance migration.
vi. Proactive health monitoring of multiple instances of SQL server including instance level settings and disk level configurations using DMVs.
vii. Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
viii. Centralized monitoring of servers/databases (i.e. building heath monitoring dashboard using SSRS and implementation of CMS).
ix. Standardization Global SQL Management.
x. SQL code development according to request include stored procedure, function, view, triggers, indexes, complex script writing, SSRS, SSIS etc.
xi. SSRS & Power Bi report development.
xii. ETL Process designing and development.
xiii. Maintain SQL Server security using assembly, certificate keys, login (windows and sql), database user, server and database roles.
