DevOps Engineer - Logging and Analytics

Splunk Skills

Splunk Administration including writing queries, building dashboards, creating alerts, Onboarding Machine data and Splunk Cloud Management

Troubleshoot platform related issues and assist team members with Technical issues

Splunk Platform experience at Administrator/Architect level Elastic Skills

Elastic Stack Administration (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats, with X-Pack subscription) deployed in the Cloud and in AWS Elasticsearch

Experience with data ingest, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) techniques preferable Logstash and Beats

Writing queries, building dashboards, creating alerts Other Technical Skills

Troubleshooting and administration of Windows and *nix systems

Experience with version control systems, like Git

Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and IAM)

Hands-on experience with Orchestration tools (Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Chef/Puppet, etc.)

Proficiency with at least one of these scripting languages: Python, JavaScript, Unix Shell

Experience with various database technologies (NoSQL, SQL) and data interchange formats (XML, JSON)
