Job Description
The Salesforce Administrator contributes to Intelerads success and growth by managing the SalesForce platform and by translating business needs into solutions. The Salesforce Administrator will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization including Sales, Marketing, Contract Management, Customer Success, Product Management, Product Management, as well as with external stakeholders including consultants who provide us with the Salesforce platform and applications. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Business Systems.
The Salesforce Administrator has a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform configuration and knows how to extend the core features to support the business needs. She/He is responsible for the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise software solutions, for the creation and update of business reports and dashboards for different departments, including sales and marketing.
Her/His Salesforce skills mean she/he can administer Pardot, Sales Cloud and CPQ including opportunities, assets, orders, product configuration, product bundles, pricing rules and advanced approval workflows.
An analytical person, the Salesforce Administrator enjoys digging into the business needs and requirements and translating them into Salesforce solutions. Managing expectations is part of the skill-set Intelerad will be looking for as well as guidance on what can and cant be achieved with standard functionality. The role will be split between bugs and project work.
Work closely with business users from sales, marketing, legal, billing, and customer success to determine needs and implement new features, functionalities and processes
Translate business requirements into logical technical designs; define technical solutions in Salesforce.com to support business work processes
Create and maintain detailed documentation for technical designs, project plans, deployments, and training documents
Test and release functionality. Drive resolution of all issues that come up from testing and release.
Communicate project status to key stakeholders throughout entire development process
Develop and maintain solutions using the full Salesforce toolset including custom objects and fields, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, escalation rules, auto-assignment rules, etc for Sales Cloud and CPQ.
Work closely with business partners to review operational processes and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation; create and manage any complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers
Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
Provide day to day Salesforce platform and user support (team effort); manage users, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validations
Maintain and improve upon SF integrations with both internal and third party systems
Manage Salesforce system issues/bug fixes, and feature releases via rotation with other Application Administrators; help troubleshoot, investigate, and implement solutions to identified issues
Perform mass uploads and updates of data as required
Work within sandbox environments and follow a release schedule, to maintain system integrity
Review Salesforce Release notes to determine impact and possible enhancements to system
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
2+ years experience as a Salesforce Administrator
Salesforce Certified Administrator or SF Advanced Certified Administrator preferred
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
Experience with CPQ (Configure- Price-Quote) in SalesForce
