Job Opening for the position of TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER (Mumbai - Prabhadevi)

We are actively looking for a Test Automation engineer to develop and execute automated tests with JEST to ensure high product quality, and thereby play an important part in our product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and executing extensive testing before product launches. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy solving software quality problems, we'd like to meet you.

Key Responsibilities
-Liaise with internal teams to identify new testing requirements
-Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents
-Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
-Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
-Use automation frameworks like JEST to build test cases
-Develop and execute manual and automated tests
-Write and execute API test scripts with Postman
-Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
-Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
-Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
-Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Qualifications & Skill Requirements
-Qualifications: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
-Proficient with Javascript especially related to automated testing
-Proven work experience in software testing using JEST and Postman
-Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
-Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
-Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
-Experience with performance, smoke and security testing is a plus
-Experience with Selenium and frameworks like TestNG, Log4j, etc is a plus
-Passion for software engineering and a history of self-learning
