Responsibilities :

• Design and document logical and physical database models to cater to a variety of business requirements.
• Review T-SQL code for implementing application business logic using stored procedures, views, and functions
• Play an active role in data governance by working with other Database Administrators and Applications/ Business teams
• Hands on development of high-quality stored procedures
• Mentoring other engineers on the team
• Play an active role in shaping the Data center of excellence

Requirements :

• A Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong conceptual knowledge of database design and schema principles
• Very good understanding of database release management
• 7+ years of experience in design, development, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server Databases
• Familiarity with AWS big data technologies preferred, not required
• Be organized and able to remain productive even when you have multiple deliverables.
• Highly motivated individual with the potential and desire to learn new technologies and take on an increasing level of responsibility within the technology team.
• Ability to work independently, communicates effectively, and produces superior results.
• Experience working in Scrum-based methodologies
