Job Description

A heavy equipment operator drives or controls construction equipment. You will operate this equipment to assist in the construction of structures. You will be responsible for transporting loads to construction sites with the use of lifting equipment, such as cranes and hoists. You will work closely with construction workers and ground operators to complete your daily duties. You will be Responsible for operating a stationary or traveling crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads.

Responsibilities

transporting loads to construction sites with the use of lifting equipment
Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
Observe distribution of paving material.
Operates a variety of construction class vehicles
Operate vehicles with safety precautions in place
