Lab Technician

Follow lab Operating Procedures and Safe Working Procedures for all lab tasks and equipment
Preparation, batching, mixing and testing of concrete mix designs and cement/cementitious materials (strength, slump, durability, particle etc).
Aggregate testing (grading, durability etc).
Accurately documents results/observations and maintains paperwork and/or computer databases
Collate test results and inputs into files/databases ensure that all data is filed in accordance with the QMS
As required, maintain the calibration files and maintenance/servicing files for lab equipment and processes
Ensure that the H&S and housekeeping standards are maintained
Give product knowledge training sessions and demonstrations
Work in the field as needed
