200+! Thats the of the team supporting Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HE&OR) and Pricing and Market Access (PMA) across NGSCs. We are a trusted and solution oriented business partner to all Novartis divisions enabling patients to get the best access to Novartis products
Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop early assessments of the economic viability of a product, using a variety of methods and techniques.
Coordinate with the Health Economics &OR Evidence Reporting and GPMA Analytics teams for development of cost/value drivers, epidemiology, efficacy, and other information needed to populate models.
Participate as a full-time or ad-hoc member of core modeling teams to drive modeling excellence.
Respond to ad-hoc requests from the HE&OR Program Directors to support needs for Health Economics modeling and assessments that can support brand value evaluation
Work closely with the Health Economics & OR Franchise Heads and Clinical Science Units, as required, to gain greater insight in upcoming disease indications and standards.
Standardize development of early economic scenarios and Health Economics models with iterative evolution of models over product lifecycle to advise economically justifiable price.
Establish quality standards and ensure most innovative methods used for the development of cost-effectiveness models and budget impact models (whether built internally or with external experts)
Implement innovative modeling approaches across franchises using state of the art methodologies
Drive impactful, pragmatic communication of model results, customized to audience needs
Minimum requirements:
Education:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
Graduate degree (Masters or Doctorate) in a relevant science/pharmacy/IT/quantitative fields. Education in health economics, epidemiology, health services research, Economics, and/or public health a plus.
Experience/Professional Requirement:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in any of analytics, Clinical trial Statistics, health economic Modeling
Eagerness to pick up new skills and learn new scientific concepts.
Programming abilities in at least one language and Programming experience in VBA/R a plus.
Ability to arrive at simple yet robust analysis and insights from complex data sources; ability to convert hard/raw data into meaningful analysis
Strong story boarding and presentation skills
Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and flexibility through effective and innovative leadership ability and Attention to detail and quality focused.
Organizational, planning, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to operate effectively in an international environment.
