Roles and Responsibilities
Job Summary
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders from Infogain and Customer to assess, plan and guide execution team around workload migration and / or re-architecture of workloads and / or Cloud Native application development with Azure cloud.
Job Description
Mandatory Responsibilities
- Assess current ecosystem of workloads, capture inventory, understand as-is architecture
- Liaison with customer and Infogain stakeholders to come up with roadmap for migration of workloads to Azure cloud
- Decide between re-host, re-platform, re-factor, re-architect workloads
- Provide to-be architecture and migration / implementation plan for various workloads to be moved to Azure
- Provide architecture guidance for scalable, resilient, high performance, distributed applications on Azure cloud
- Guide various teams including IT, applications, data, devops and security
- Suggest use of appropriate Azure PaaS services in the to-be architecture
- Lead re-architecture exercises to turn monolithic applications into microservices based applications
- Lead POC exercises to showcase value of the solutions proposed
- Lead regular connects with various stakeholders to provide updates
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- 10+ years of overall industry experience, 3+ years with Azure cloud, 5+ years of programming experience with .Net or Java or similar programming languages
- Must possess Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.(Exams AZ 303 and AZ 304)
- Prior experience in designing microservices based architecture.
- Building and Deploying code native solution on Azure
- Hands-on experience in any programming language like Java, .Net or Python. Experience in Rest/SOAP webservices, application integration, SQL or NoSQL databases. Must have sound knowledge of Messaging systems like KAFKA or MSMQ.
- Conducting architectural evaluation, analysis, and design of enterprise-wide systems
- Ensuring delivery of robust system solutions by the application architecture team to the architect business
- Preparation and presentation of a technical presentations and analyst briefings for covering different solution areas.
- Azure service experience VM, AKS, Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, VNet, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory
- Programming skills - .Net core Or Java 8, Swagger, REST API, docker
Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple Azure certifications
- Experience in migrating data centers to Azure cloud.
