Job Description


Role Proficiency:
Act creatively to develop new testing techniques; provide leadership to select appropriate technical solutions maintenance and performance by applying appropriate standards
Outcomes:
  1. Ensure adherence to test practises process to improve test coverage; creating test estimates and schedules
  2. Identify clients business process conduct risk analysis and prepare risk plan
  3. Validate automation scripts for test specifications
  4. Ensure that new and revised modules or systems perform to expectation
  5. Publish RCA report and preventive measures
  6. Report progress of testing
  7. Quality of deliverables
  8. Contribute revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate methods

Measures of Outcomes:
  1. Test Script Creation and Execution Productivity
  2. Defect Leakage Metrics
  3. Number of test case reuses
  4. Test execution Coverage
  5. Defect Acceptance Ratio
  6. Test Review efficiency
  7. Test rework efficiency

Outputs Expected:
Test Design
Development
Execution:
  1. Participate in review walkthrough and demo; obtain sign off by stakeholder for Test Design
  2. Prepare Test summary Report for modules and features

Requirements Management:
  1. Analyse prioritize and identify gaps; creating workflow diagrams based on requirements/user stories

Manage Project:
  1. Participate in test management

Domain relevance:
  1. Identify business processes conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage

Estimate:
  1. Prepare estimate schedule; identify dependencies

Knowledge Management:
  1. Consume contribute and review (best practices lesson learned retrospective)

Test Design
Execution:
  1. Test plan preparation test case script creation and test execution

Test & Defect Management:
  1. Conduct root cause and trend analysis of the defects

Test Planning:
  1. Identify the test scenarios with understanding of systems interfaces and application
  2. Identify end to end business critical scenarios with less support
