ZF Wind Power puts wind energy in motion! The ZF Wind Power Business Unit is part of ZF group,which is known as one of the worlds leading automotive suppliers. Within our unit we develop, validate and service gear units used in wind turbines producing sustainable energy and we are doing this for more than 40 years! Today we build new the drivetrain solutions to meet the requirements of the future. As wind turbines continue to grow, we are continuously pushed outside of our engineering boundaries, which makes it a challenging engineering environment to work in.
To reinforce ourdigitalizationdepartment, we are looking for a new colleague at our location in Coimbatore:
Your Tasks:

  • Youknow and apply ZF corporate and international guidelines and standards for technical writing

  • You create andupdate technical product documentation (technical user manuals) based on current cross-functional company standards, existing standard descriptions and specific technical needs

  • You continuously evaluatedesign or specification changes and you verifythe accuracy, completeness and validity of the current available gearbox documentationfor serial or service products

  • You develop solid technical understanding of a gearbox and impact of component and concept changes to the technical description to implement descriptions correctly

  • You actively and independently interact with the design teams and suppliers to timely provide the technical documentation to customers

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor (mechanicalengineering) or equal by experience,relevantexperience >2years

  • Solid knowledge editorial/technical writing

  • Solid technical insight

  • Solid knowledge Office 365

  • Base knowledge on and open to digital tools as a redaction system
