Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.
Provide optimal design solutions to improve system quality and efficiency.
Strong modelling experience in ORACLE & SAP HANA using graphical and script-based calculation views
Familiar with extraction mechanisms using SLT, Data Services, SDI & Oracle GoldenGate.
Strong SQL background with performance optimizing experience.
Develop schemas, tables, triggers, indexes, sequences, constraints, functions and procedures.
Follow best practices for database design.
Good understanding on performance optimization & Query tuning.
Maintain technical documentations for reference purposes.
Write complex codes and queries and participate in code reviews.
Optional skill set - Used OData Services to consume data via HANA XS Application server.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience in developing data models & reporting solutions in SAP HANA or Oracle with a good knowledge of SQL is mandatory.
Perform capacity analysis and oversee database tuning.
Familiar with extraction mechanisms using SLT, Data Services,SDI &Goldengate.
Strong SQL background with performance optimizing experience
Develop schemas, tables, triggers, indexes, sequences, constraints, functions and procedures.
HANA XS Application Server
Optional skill set - Used OData Services to consume data via HANA XS Application server. Basic understanding of HTML5 and Java scripting
