Job Description

10+ years of total IT experience with minimum 3 years in creating Enterprise Data Models.

Extensive experience in data modeling concepts (E-R modeling, conceptual/logical/physical/semantic, multi-dimensional models (star, snowflake)).

Experience in designing both OLTP and OLAP data models.

Ability to apply Industry modeling standards to logical and physical ERDs.

Ability to translate the requirements gathered into a CDM, LDM and a PDM, conduct a walk through at each stage and get a buy in from the stakeholders.

Experience in creating Source-Target data mapping (ETL data mapping with defined technical and business rules).

Experience in data architecture, design best practices in data modeling both OLTP and OLAP schemas.

Experience with moderate to high SQL scripts (creating, reading, running, customizing).

Work independently with minor oversight. Ability to work with the Development team and the DBAs.

Assists in developing and implementing best practices for DR and Backups
