Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Quality Engineer
Java, Cucumber, Webservices/API and browser testing, familiar with JSON/XML
Responsible for wiring QA plan, Test Strategy
Allocate task to testers and track their progress
Responsible for reviewing high level scenario, low level scenario and test cases
Supports creation of QA estimation with offshore technical architect and Offshore PM.
Identifies QA Risks and Dependencies on a SOS basis. Identifies and give early warnings/alerts related to Quality Risks/Issues/Dependencies to Offshore/Onshore PM and architects
Mentors testers from quality side. Guides the team to solve problems and provide them work around
Be the first point of contact for QA team for any conflict/issue resolution and suggestions
Ensure the quality of the work by maintaining steps of doneness for each artifact
Prepare QA dashboard. Responsible to publish test reports, Defect reports
Process improvement/ new tool identification to improve project quality
Responsible for test process are maintained and followed by testing team
Responsible to oversee and manage SIT and UAT
