Job Description


Role Proficiency:
Independently create functional and appealing user interfaces applications and features that address the clients requirements. Guide the junior designers on the team
Outcomes:
  1. Develop prototypes and models to use in various products to maximize aesthetic consistency.
  2. Translate the UX design into interaction prototypes and artefacts.
  3. Assists in the collection of client requirements.
  4. Participate in user research and generate end-user insights under the guidance of leads and specialists.
  5. Assists in analysing user research data assists in writing report and communicating results to UX and Design team.
  6. Assists converting research findings into actionable results.
  7. Executes user testing remote testing paper prototype testing iterative prototype testing and concept testing.
  8. Design and provide recommendations for enhancements as needed.
  9. Adheres to standards and processes help others follow the processes
  10. Mentor Junior Designers
  11. Collaborates with other members in the pursuit of common missions vision values and mutual goals.

Measures of Outcomes:
  1. Adherence to project schedule / timelines
  2. On time completion of mandatory compliance trainings
  3. Adherence to Processes and Standards
  4. Completion of all mandatory training requirements

Outputs Expected:
User Research:
  1. Participate in user studies and research
  2. Documenting user stories and problem statements

Testing:
  1. Execution of Concept and usability testing

Design:
  1. Independently create UX designs
  2. Participate in brainstorming sessions on the design by working with other stakeholders

Customer orientation:
  1. Establish familiarity with customer product branding schemes

Documentation:
  1. Compile required documentation for the project releases

Reporting:
  1. Status reporting to team lead

Teamwork:
  1. Document the best practices for the team members
  2. Mentor junior team members
  3. Seeks information on issues impacting the progress

Skill Examples:
  1. Ability to independently provide UX/UI design
  2. Share the best practices in team
  3. Follow high level of business etiquette in emails and other business communication
  4. Proactively ask for and offer help
  5. On time delivery with high quality
  6. Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities
