12+ years of experience in the software development field, with demonstrated performance working with customers, leading the delivery of projects, with experience of delivering products
3+ years of project delivery experience managing of large projects or programs related to product engineering on Java/.NET microservices based stack.
Experience in product engineering approach and ability to lead the product engineering team
Expertise in development processes (agile, iterative incremental and other latest methodologies), quality and testing best practices.
Understanding of Dev-Sec-Ops and Product centric delivery.
Proven experience in managing teams delivering IT implementations and involving multiple software application integrators. Managed team of 20+.
Proven track record of completing projects on time, ensuring quality as well as a proven track record in coaching and mentoring others to success
Good understanding of and experience with onsite -offshore software development model.
Could develop ability to view the overall perspective of the program, map the key stakeholders at the customer side and do the needful mapping accordingly Key Responsibilities
Own the overall accountability, for the end-to-end delivery of projects or products, ensure the timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of projects
Perform project reviews on a consistent basis to ensure project delivery is on time and on budget.
Work with Account Managers and COEs to seek support at the right time, quality, and customer satisfaction
Work with Account Managers on forecasting of people and work, to make sure onsite / offshore communications are optimized
Represent Mindtree to the customers at business reviews, and other critical meetings, for the overall delivery aspects and quality of delivery
Participate in recruitment activities at the onsite and if possible, at the offshore
Maintain high visibility into issues affecting employee satisfaction and happiness, while ensuring strategies are in place for highest levels of retention
Provide leadership to, develop and maintain an effective team through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination and review of all personnel KRA / Metrics
Customer Relationship Management and mapping with the key leaders in the customer organisation
Preventing escalation creeping to the senior management in the organisations
Project is delivered within the budget, scope and quality, adherence to Project and Organization Processes
Continuous Improvements Project, Account and Organizational level Skills Essential
Good understanding of digital integration approach and technologies
Project Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Systems Integration, Different Development Life Cycle Methodologies, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirements Gathering, and Systems Analysis and Design skills
Project Management skills including: Estimating, Scope Management, Budget Management, Time Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Issue/Conflict Resolution, Communication Management, Escalation Management, Quality Management, Testing Strategy & Plans, Training Plans, Team Management Personal Qualities and Attributes
