Job Description
Job responsibilities includes:-** Study and review of P&ID, Process flow diagram (PFD) with respect to the Instrument types and process description.
** Review of process datasheets, plot plan, Line list, Piping material specifications, equipment layout, vessel datasheets, area classifications etc.
** Preparation of Instrumentation Data sheets for various flow, level, pressure and temperature instruments.
** Adept to Pressure Safety Valves and Pressure Control Valves sizing with actuators using API 520 and ISA 75 standards respectively.
** Preparation and finalization of installation standards: process & pneumatic hook ups.
** Preparation of Installation Hardware MTO.
** Flow element sizing calculations using ISO 5167 Standard.
** Preparation of Functional Schematic diagrams.
** Instrument/Electrical interface details.
** Material Requisition for Various Instruments.
** Preparation of Instrument Index / IO List.
** Preparation of Cable & JB schedule.
** Cable Block diagram and Loop wiring diagram from field instruments to DCS/ESD Marshalling cabinet & system cabinet.
** Junction Box Wiring Diagram.
** Preparation of Level sketches.
** Preparation of Instrument JB Location Layout.
** Preparation of Air Connection Layout.
** Cable Tray and Trench layout.
** Cable Tray MTO including all fittings and accessories.
** Review of quotations, preparation of technical questionnaire, technical bid analysis and purchase requisition etc. for the same.
** Involvement in HAZOP studies and further node wise preparation of HAZOP worksheets which include the deviations, causes, consequences, existing safeguards and recommendations.
** Basic knowledge of DCS and PLC Systems, System Architecture, Cabinet / Panel GA for DCS, SIS and PLC systems.
Field Instrumentation:
** Preparation of specification for flow, level, pressure, temp. Instruments based on Design standards ISO 5167, IEC 61508.
** Preparation of Instrument Data sheet for field instruments.
** Preparing technical competency chart for competent Vendors.
** Flow element sizing calculations using ISO 5167 standard.
DCS & ESD system:
** Preparation and review of specification of DCS & ESD based on various International Design Standards, IEEE 802.3, ISA, IEC 61508/ 61511 etc.
** Review of quotations, preparation of technical questionnaire, and technical bid analysis for the same.
** Complete selection of DCS, ESD hardware, software requirement, OPC server, Asset management, Alarm Information, Interface requirement, FF philosophy as per project requirement.
** Preparation of specification for flow, level, pressure, temp. Instruments based on Design standards ISO 5167, IEC 61508.
** Preparation of Instrument Data sheet for field instruments.
** Preparing technical competency chart for competent Vendors.
** Flow element sizing calculations using ISO 5167 standard.
DCS & ESD system:
