Job Description
- Execute Mechanical design work for Electronics packaging for Rugged Enclosures.
- Should be able to independently design and deliver the entire mechanical package design artifacts like concept design, detail design, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings etc.
- Should be able to independently take the designs through the stages of concept, preliminary, critical and final design reviews.
- Should posses the knowledge of manufacturing & machining processes.
- Knowledge on Structural and thermal analysis desired. Should be able to interpret the results from the analysis and be in a position to take the decision design modifications.
- Should have exposure in design of Heat sinks, Vibration isolation, Manufacturing processes, Knowledge of Electrical components placement on PCB with considerations for weight, vibration, EMI Considerations etc.
- Should have good knowledge on processes like Riveting, Welding etc.
- Should have a good knowledge on ISO standards for documentation.
- Knowledge on PLM software and its functioning is desired.
