Job Description
Role title: Reporting Developer/Software Developer
Reports to: Team Leader, Business Intelligence
Department: Business Intelligence
ROLE OBJECTIVE
Purpose
- Design and develop online reporting.
- Manage the Database servers on which intranet based applications are hosted
Responsibilities :-
- Ensuring ZERO downtime on the production servers
- Documentation of requirements and process flows
- Application support
- Maintenance and upgrade of applications developed
- Data storing and data mining.
Role requirements
Education qualification(s)
- Graduate
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role in a contact centre

Techno-functional competencies
- Knowledge of MS Excel.
- VBA
- Knowledge of Asp.net (C# / VB.net),
- SQL 2005/2008/2016,

Service delivery
Project activities:
- Contribute to the development of applications, based on request form stakeholders
- Examples of such applications are , ZOOM, NPS Analysis Modules, , Performance Dashboard
Planning activities:
- Discuss, understand and document the user requirements
- Translate the user requirements into functional requirements; this is done module-wise
- Support the planning for the application development or support or upgrade activity
- Plan the database design for the applications to be developed
- Plan the database maintenance approach
Defining activities:
- Define and document the manner in which the particular module developed by him/ her works.
- Define the database design and the database maintenance plans
Design activities:
- Describe how the proposed module is to be built
- Describe the movement of data between operational databases and the data archive, and backup
- Support the design the database to ensure database design is optimum
Build activities:
- Complete the activities of development, unit testing, integration testing of the system modules, screens and reports, and data replication
- Develop, simultaneously, the user procedures and user documentation from the implementation phase
- Communicate the test cases to stakeholders
Implementation activities:
- Prepare for and complete implementation of the developed system through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) until the go live
- Communicate the TEST CASES to the end users for UAT
Communication
- Ensure the stakeholders are aware of the proposed changes and have provided their approval
- Communicate the status of the change process in the IT systems to the stakeholders during and post-completion, using non technical jargons
- Communicate regularly with India IT on Server location, and database management and maintenance
Liaison and networking
- Establish good working relationships with various support roles within India (HR, Training, Quality, Change Management, IT, Administration and Finance), and Australia (CRM, IT and Finance)
- Establish good working relationships with operations in India, mainly, managers (TOM/ Manager) and supervisors (TL/TC)
- Participate and contribute in meetings and discussions, when called upon
