Job Description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- 'Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementation of Scrum principles and relentless refinement to improve the team performance and velocity.
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies and conflict resolution meetings. Schedule, prepare and conduct formal customer meetings and key milestone reviews.
- Identify and resolve impediments for the scrum team as a servant-leader. Derive patterns from frequently faced issues and work with cross functional teams to identify long-term resolutions.
- Identify document and track project status, risks/issues to closure. Implement effective governance & escalation process
- Help Product owner to manage the backlog and guide the team with respect to prioritizing and scoping.
- Guide team in establishing normalized estimates.
- Ensure that Scrum Tools (story board, charts, backlogs, metrics, etc.) are updated regularly.
- Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team regularly and coaching the team to achieve the maturity standards to a sustainable level.
- Facilitate inter-team collaboration and nurturing self-organizing teams.
- Assisting with internal and external communication fostering an environment of trust and transparency.
- Candidate Profile / Qualification
- Overall 8+ years of experience in IT industry.
- 4-5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Coming from a technical background in Java/J2EE-Azure stack with end-to-end SDLC experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, people management and behavioral skills.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- Deep understanding of SAFe methodology and DevOps. Preferably has been a part of SAFe Transformation project(s).
- Hands-on experience of using Agile management tools such as VersionOne, Azure board/devops, etc. Understanding of derived agile metrics.
- Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist
- Good to have experience in other agile flavors like XP, Kanban etc.
