Job Description


Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in a sales management capacity, management consulting, and/or Strategy/Sales Operations roles in an Enterprise Software firm.
  • Experience working in an Enterprise Software/cloud Sales/Consulting organization.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience leading large programs and/or consulting projects in an Enterprise space.
  • Experience influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment with limited direction, balance competing priorities, and manage several time-sensitive projects at once.
  • Ability to project manage and work with minimal guidance.
  • Comfortable crafting and communicating insights from data, as well as attention to detail and an interest in metrics/understanding trends and patterns in business performance.
  • Excellent strategic, problem solving, analytical, presentation and communication skills.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. Based in India, as the Head of Cloud Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Sales Operations, you will play a critical role on the Cloud Sales Leadership team and lead the GTM Operations team. Our team of highly creative visionaries works well in deconstructing and re-creating businesses to meet changing strategic and operational needs, enable, incubate and scale innovation, establish more efficient practices, align functions and stakeholders to help the company continue to achieve its vast potential. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
You will be a thought and execution partner for our India Cloud Sales and Cloud Leadership Team, think strategically and help drive best global practices into India. You will help scale up our successful business in the region by helping Google define and execute strategic and operational initiatives that contribute to the company's growth and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, structure, and lead key strategic initiatives and business programs and share best practices with other regional/global Google Sales Operations teams.
  • Help support the Google Cloud Sales Leadership in developing the markets business plan, go-to-market strategy and gaining the required support to execute programs.
  • Analyze and develop deep insights on business and core performance metrics in view of business reviews. Align with cross-functional partners including Support, Vertical Solutions, Demand Execution, Revenue Programs, Finance, Marketing and HR.
  • Drive operational excellence (business growth, opportunity, health and performance metrics), across our rapidly growing Google Cloud teams in-market.
  • Work with a broad base of stakeholders to troubleshoot issues across all stages of the business cycle to improve overall performance. Ensure stakeholder issues are resolved in a timely manner.
