Are you the one we are looking for
Inviting applications for the role of Consultant- DotNetIn this role, you would be primary responsible for development and some design of web and desktop applications based on .NET technology. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into customer needs.
Responsibilities- Supporting/Troubleshooting Dot Net applications and responsible for resolving technical issues for consumers, partners, clients or internal stakeholders by addressing issues assigned to them through the ticketing systems using process specifications following operating procedures
- Creating, scheduling, monitoring jobs, troubleshooting jobs
- Go through logs and trace back to code as to what is going wrong
- Manage and resolve production incidents. Covers system outages, job failures, system defects, data defects and end user support.
- Execute and manage day-to-day operations via ticketing tools and processes
- Ensure appropriate tool is updated in accordance to SLA specifications with case notes, status updates and case closure information.
- Responsible to test the application features, should have understanding of any testing tool.
- Working with the Test Manager in owning the System Test cycle
- Participate in Application Modernization program
- Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives as the need arises
- Mentoring and coaching of graduate staff.
- Seek and resolve production problems with new insights
- Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical partners locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussion around solution/approach etc
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills although
- Experience in C#, VB.Net and VB6.
- Good understanding in Relational database concepts
- Good knowledge and work experience of SQL
- The ability to communicate, friendly and cultural behavior during customer contact.
- Good knowledge and work experience of Crystal Reports
- Willingness and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to learn the Product/Platform and associated technologies.
- Ability to be learn and apply new processes and tools
